Upset over ‘paltry’ allocation of seats for the ensuing October 15 Maharashtra Assembly polls, three small parties of the Shiv Sena-BJP led ‘Mahayuti’ said ‘enough’s enough. We have decided to quit the combine and we accuse the saffron constituents of Mahayuti of directly “back-stabbing” us’.

“Shiv Sena and BJP have stabbed us in the back. SSP,RSP and Shivsangram have decided to leave ‘Mahayuti’ (grand alliance) and contest the Assembly polls jointly,” declared SSP leader Sadabhau Khot.

Somewhere, complacent-cum-complacence-resembling BJP bosses, paying no heed to the above, castigated the Shiv Sena Sena, its boss Uddav Thackeray of superciliousness, adamance, obstinacy and directly blamed them of segregating themselves from BJP-led, Shiv Sena-supported Mahayuti in lust of highest power in the state alone.

Somewhere in the not-so-distant-horizon, Shiv Sena was confident after quitting BJP-ka-daaman. Sena Boss Uddhav Thackeray confidently pronounced that ‘present’ belongs to the Shiv Sena. BJP should adjust with its stand and accommodate the Sena-logics which are fully foolproof. If they do not do so, ‘bye, bye’, ‘ta ta’ to them. Sena would field candidates in all seats and ‘sweep’ the polls in its favor.

BJP looked equally confident though with a heavy heart. It being the Big Brother did not want to be selfish, adamant, high handed. It shed tears on Sena leaving the Mahayuti but refused to leave its lost seats of 25 years to BJP. BJP leaders however felt sad but did agree that they would field candidates in all seats in the state.

Both however did not speak a word on ‘bachcha parties’ like SSP,RSP and Shivsangram . For them, they were inconsequential. Fend For Yourself was the message. Some said ‘Go To Hell’.

Congress and NCP were no better. Both segregated from their 15-year-old alliance of (save Ur image) compulsion/s. Congress thinks it will win assembly elections on its own (sic!). NCP thinks Sharad Pawar (known only in Pune, some parts of Western Maharashtra) will make Rashtrawadi win/sweep/vanquish/form next Sarkar in Mumbai.

Pawar himself is amply, visibly crest fallen. Because he is utterly confused. He is also terribly nervous, says his most trusted Communist-cum-Marxist Lieutanant Deva Prasad Tripathy who’s presently NCP Rajya Sabha MP because of Pawar’s commiseration with him. Pawar is trying to be convinced from him that in the coming assembly elections, NCP with Shiv Sena (its late founder Balasaheb Thackeray was a nationally-known Pawar-lackey) will sweep the polls.

Congress laughs at this. It also guffaws on Sena, BJP winning the coming polls. On the smaller parties, Congress couldn’t care less. It sees its defeat on the walls all through the state. It thus doesn’t bother. It is now looking towards Mars and thinking of sailing for Pluto or Sun. Circus of  Divorce(s) Continues. Segregation/s Supreme now. Whose win, none are interested in. They want betting on the Neta should make them parvenus. Its time now.
