“One” was a simple answer by a boy in a conference. When he was asked to elaborate his answer he said, India is divided into two regions an urban India and a rural India. Young minds from both the regions are equally talented, mentally intelligent and physically fit but where one gets all the facility required for his growth and development the other has to earn from his very child age. A picture of India shows us the same “divide and rule policy” of the British in India still prevails but the division is between urban and rural, girls and boys, rich and poor and the politician playing games with it. Young minds are crushed from their dreams every moment.
Young mind wants a “catalyst” in their development. Young minds wants a catalyst that gives a platform for growth, just like a catalyst gives an invisible help in a chemical reaction. The catalyst can be of any source like a government can help by providing proper education and scholarship; a business man can provide jobs and better learning for youngsters. A young Indian aspires to be educated with a good job to maintain the basic necessities of life.
Young Indians want a stage where they can mobilize their best efforts like sports centre for sportsman, best faculty staff for students. Young Indian wants a chance to prove their excellence and also gain the benefit of their best efforts. They want a healthy environment to live in with a peaceful atmosphere. They should start preparing for what they want to. They need the power to motivate them to do something.
Young India wants a “CORRUPTION FREE” country. Corruption is a snake eating youngsters every day and that needs to be eradicated from our society. Young Indians have taken part in every struggle to remove corruption whether it was Anna Hazare struggle or Arvind Kejriwal’s march. India has become a country where corruption rules and without corruption a man cannot survive, this needs to be stopped.
Young Indians wants “ENTREPREUNER”. Yes, by entrepreneur youngsters can innovate and create the best resources from the raw goods . There is a feeling of patriotism in every Young India but due to the lack of opportunity they are left to brain drain themselves in other country. If India can produce Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft to work for some other country why can’t India resources produce another Nadella for them. Indians have a lot potential in themselves but due to lack of opportunity they shift themselves to other country and everyone knows the answer WHY?
India has lost its beauty, the rich culture, the holy rivers, sacred temples and other places to visit by the foreigners. Youngsters want that back and they can do anything for it. India’s culture and temple has been a source of corruption and income for some. Youngster wants to gain back the respect of the visitors. A line from the poem “TO INDIA, MY NATIVE LAND” tells the rest
“The eagle pinion is chained down at last,
And growling in the lowly dust art thou”
This is a harsh truth but Young India still faces problems on equality, dowry system, rape, sex discrimination which is one of the reasons for the underdevelopment of India but till the mind-set of India does not develop India will still be looked down by the others.
There should also be speedy judgement, India is a place where every convicted gets ten years of freedom before he is found guilty. There should be speedy judgement and punishment on such horrible crimes like rape should be harsh and just. Dowry and child killing should be stopped. Young Indians have seen how girls step each foot with the boys and have proved to be equal.
Young India wants mission 2020 where science and development is the best. India produces the best resources. Indians are made to produce their own good. Indians can strike every gold medal in games and gets appreciated for it. India is known for its people and youngsters get every opportunity to grow and multiple every day.
I am from a small village in Bihar named Thakurganj where there is electricity for only four hours, I was sent to study in Bengal at a very small age of four and like me others are also sent to different places due to the lack of education facility. I have seen every picture living there and only one or two get an opportunity to study in metropolitan city. Being a Youth representative I can say that Youth are made to suffer every moment and so I want that every Youngster get a chance of studying and qualifying his best quality. A child is made to work and in a small age and after suffering the crime on him, he becomes a criminal himself and we make them criminals. Why can’t we help the poor people, why can’t we be generous to them? There is a saying that everyone has a unique quality in them they just need to find it. Why can’t we give them that opportunity to find the best in themselves? I believe after we give them India will be a developed country.
